Give a little kindness song – Rally for Peace

U.S. is off to a war again in the Middle East. People are scared.

What is Canada’s role in this war? SPC says give a little kindness instead of sending bombs to Iraq and Syria. Our objective is not war fighting or destroying ISIS, we have been there before – this is killing of more civilians than insurgents. Our objective should be peacemaking and this can be done through establishing safe haven, refugee routes, humanitarian aid and diplomacy. Let’s prioritize human rights and non violence. Let us establish lines of communication with all parties. A counterinsurgency or constabulary operation should be a UN mandate. Soldiers are trained to battles, children are not. How in the name of God can we tolerate and support bombing? Is this because they are not our children?

Rally for Peace: Oppose Canada to send bombers and troops to Syria and Iraq

The Saskatoon Peace Coalition is calling on everyone to come out for a rally on October 6th, 12 Noon at Saskatoon City Hall to express our protest on Harper’s plan to send troops and bombers to Syria and Iraq!

Let us tell our leaders bombs will not bring peace, only more suffering.

Let’s start talking about what is going on and what other options are available to help the people of Syria and Iraq.
